Very Hot Pepper Sauce is a unique and delicious blend of fruits and vegetables. Created and produced in Brooklyn, New York, Very Hot Pepper Sauce is a habanero citrus blend with overtones of cilantro and garlic in a carrot and mango base. Our sauce differs greatly from a traditional hot sauce- our gourmet pepper sauce is thick, hearty, delicious, and powerful. Very Hot Pepper Sauce was designed not only to be incredibly spirited and flavorful, but also Very Hot.

Originally created to raise money as part of a fundraiser for Team in Training (a non-profit dedicated to training ordinary people to run a marathon, and raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma society), we sold the sauce to friends and co-workers, and raised $5,000 in six months. After the marathon in Rome in March 2009, we began the process of bringing our mouthwatering sauce to the mass market to finally satisfy those spicy sauce fiends craving something better than Tabasco. Very Hot Pepper Sauce has now developed a cult following in all five boroughs of New York City.

At first taste, its burst of flavor with a nose of cilantro is followed by a slow warming heat. For beginners, it is best if used in small quantities to doctor up a dull meal, marinade or sauce. Soon you begin to know and crave the flavor and heat, and quickly advance to spreading your sauce over a cracker and going to town. It is great on eggs or potatoes for breakfast, sandwiches and salsa for lunch, and any meat, fish, casserole, soup, noodle or stir fry for an unforgettable dinner.

Very Hot Pepper Sauce comes in 8 oz. jars, and can be easily ordered individually or in bulk. It is made with all natural fruits and vegetables and no artificial preservatives. It can also be found in many fine stores, fruit stands, farmer markets, and vegan/health food groceries. Very Hot Pepper Sauce is an essential tool for both the avid chef and the casual cook and should be a permanent fixture in the condiment section of your refrigerator.
